Between 26-28 March, the second edition of the "Innovations in Agribusiness Academy" will take place - a joint initiative of the Faculty of Economics of Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski, LEADER.BG, Applied Research and Communications Foundation, Cleantech Bulgaria, and the Professional Association of Robotics, Automation and Innovation (PARAi).
The three-day Academy comes with a rich programme. Best practices from the teams of Bulgarian companies in the sector, trends in e-commerce development, tools and opportunities for business partnerships will be presented. Panel discussions will focus on cybersecurity and AI in agribusiness, international and European funding programmes, and much more.
The Fund of Funds will participate in the "Agribusiness Innovation Academy" with the participation of Dochka Vassileva, Head of Project Information and Financing Unit. She will take part in the panel "Financing Technological Modernization and Entrepreneurial Initiatives in Agribusiness" on March 28, at 11:30 AM. Dochka Vassileva will present our instruments to channel capital for innovation development in the agribusiness and biotechnology sectors in 2021-2027. Stay tuned for stories of companies already scaling up with resources from the Fund of Funds.
The event will also include an exhibition of agribusiness companies with innovative products and services in agriculture and agri-food chains, circular and organic economy. Innovative products and services, new business models, advanced technological solutions for food production, processing and distribution will be showcased. On site, the team of the Bulgarian Digital Innovation Hub for Agriculture AgroHub.BG will provide companies from agribusiness with individual advice and guidance on business development, access to financing, digital maturity online assessment tools, and many more.
The Academy builds on and complements the training in the Master's Programme "Innovation and Digital Transformation in Agribusiness" at the Faculty of Economics of Sofia University.
