The Fund of Funds ("Fund Manager of Financial Instruments in Bulgaria" EAD) distributes public funds from European programmes and national co-financing through specialised support mechanisms (financial instruments). FMFIB ensures efficient and sustainable use of EU funds and builds capacity and expertise for managing financial instruments at national level.
Our mission
The mission of FMFIB EAD is to expand access to finance and mobilise additional private capital to achieve public policy objectives in Bulgaria.
The company structures and manages financial instruments co-financed by the European Union, guided by the principles of effectiveness, transparency and sustainability. In partnership with financial intermediaries and investors, it supports viable investments and projects that contribute to competitiveness, innovation, economic growth, employment and the country’s sustainable development.
Our vision
The vision of FMFIB EAD is to strengthen and further develop its role as a specialised financial institution that uses financial instruments to provide long-term support for investment and sustainable development in Bulgaria.
Building on its experience, expertise and partnerships, the company aims to expand the use of financial instruments in response to evolving investment needs, encourage private capital participation and enhance the economic and social impact of public resources.
The Fund of Funds conducts its business in accordance with its Articles of Association, the Commercial Law, the Public Enterprises Law and other applicable regulations.
