Pavel Lisev, Executive Director and Board Member of Fund of Funds, participated in the "Brussels 1" show on Bulgaria ON AIR television and shared data about the resource that will be managed by FoF under its entrusted mandates and the priority directions for financing through the future instruments in the new Multiannual Financial Framework 2021-2027.
During the new programming period Fund of Funds will operate financial instruments worth of two billion leva, aiming to ensure sustainable development and a rising trajectory of achievements up to this point.
The new resource will be allocated across various sectors and several priority directions, including enhancing the entrepreneurial initiative of small and medium-sized enterprises, circular economy, technology transfer, intra-company innovations, and digitization in enterprises. The scope of the instruments will be expanded, and alongside small and medium-sized enterprises, companies with larger staff, i.e., with medium capitalization, will also be able to benefit from the available resources through these instruments.
"So far, we have supported over 3,100 end beneficiaries through all debt and equity instruments. Among them, 360 are companies from our portfolio of risk and equity investments, and over 900 end beneficiaries have been supported with financing through debt instruments under Operational Programme Regions for Growth 2014-2020, targeted at micro-enterprises and social entrepreneurship," stated Pavel Lisev in the interview.
