The Fund of Funds (FoF) has launched market consultations in relation to the structuring of a financial instrument for equity and quasi-equity financing. The total public resource amounts to EUR 30 million, co-financed by the European Union under the Competitiveness and Innovation in Enterprises Programme 2021–2027.
The “Strategic Technologies and Defence Fund” is aimed at enterprises operating in high value-added strategic sectors, including, but not limited to, digital and deep tech technologies, cybersecurity, quantum technologies, computer and electronic technologies, the software industry, biotechnology and clean technologies, including those related to critical medicines, with a focus on improving availability, supply and production capacity and reducing vulnerabilities in supply chains. Support will also be provided to companies developing technological solutions in the field of defence and dual-use products.
The consultations will be conducted in the form of individual meetings with all interested parties. The planned topics for discussion include:
Market opportunities and key factors related to venture financing and the development of the entrepreneurial ecosystem;
Structure and key parameters of the instrument, including its implementation mechanism, resource allocation, territorial distribution, expected results, revenue distribution mechanism and other aspects;
Investment strategy and pipeline development process;
Indicative terms and expected financing parameters, including the need to attract private capital.
The meetings will be held with interested stakeholders in the period from 4 to 12 March 2026, following prior reservation via the following link HERE. The Fund of Funds reserves the right, where necessary, to propose changes to the schedule, of which participants will be duly informed and which will be coordinated accordingly.
