The Fund of Funds and SIS Credit AD have signed an Operational Agreement for the implementation of the financial instrument “Microfinancing for Entrepreneurship of Students and Doctoral Candidates”, supported by funds under Education Programme 2021–2027, co-financed by the European Union through the European Social Fund Plus.
The objective of the financial instrument is to provide close to EUR 3 million in support for starting a business or other entrepreneurial initiatives by students and PhD students , with possible participation of university professors.
Financing for eligible final recipients is provided in the form of investment and working capital loans, as well as financial leasing, in amounts of up to EUR 51,000, under preferential terms and with a maximum repayment period of up to 120 months, including a grace period for principal repayment of up to 36 months.
