The Fund of Funds selected SIS Credit AD as a financial intermediary to implement the instrument "Microfinance for Entrepreneurship of Students and PhD Candidates" supported by Programme "Education" 2021-2027, co-financed by the European Union through the European Social Fund Plus (ESF+).
The instrument will provide support of nearly €3 million for students and PhD candidates to start their own businesses or other types of entrepreneurial initiatives, with the participation of university lecturers.
Funding for eligible final recipients is provided in the form of loans on favorable terms, aiming at a quick and focused transition from education to employment.
The resource is expected to be on the market early next year.
