EBRD is launching the present Call for Expression of Interest to invite eligible financial institutions in Bulgaria to apply to become co-investing financial institutions under a guarantee instrument implemented by EBRD and Fund of Funds in Bulgaria under Operational Programme Environment 2014-2020, co-financed by the European Structural and Investment Funds.
The guarantee instrument’s objective is to provide access to eligible regional water and wastewater operators in Bulgaria to long-term financing for their investment projects in the country’s water and wastewater sector. Each guarantee issued by EBRD will be backed with financial contributions by OPE and EBRD’s own capital resources.
The EBRD will select co-investing financial institutions after a due diligence process.
