Four candidates submitted applications within the deadline for participation in the financial intermediary selection procedure for the implementation of the Digitalisation Fund. The instrument has a total public resource of EUR 40.2 million, including EUR 5 million allocated for grants, financed under the Competitiveness and Innovation in Enterprises Programme 2021–2027, co-financed by the European Union.
The candidates that submitted applications within the prescribed deadline are:
Altiora Ventures Consortium;
NovaTech Ventures Consortium;
DiGi Ventures Consortium;
Hierax Ventures Consortium.
The instrument is designed to support enterprises developing and/or deploying technologies, including solutions related to artificial intelligence, digital twins, virtual reality, robotics, autonomous systems and other technologies corresponding to Industry 4.0 maturity levels 3–6.
Its objective is to accelerate the digital transformation of Bulgarian enterprises, enhance their competitiveness and promote the adoption of advanced technological solutions across the real economy.
The maximum investment amount per final recipient will be up to EUR 5 million. The instrument also provides grants of up to EUR 200,000 in the form of technical assistance, such as consultancy services, and/or investment grants for activities set out in the final recipient's business plan.
The submitted applications will now be assessed for compliance with the eligibility requirements relating to the applicants' legal status and the selection criteria. Candidates admitted to the next stage of the procedure will be invited to submit initial tenders.
